Education Challenges in East Jerusalem

With a shortage of around 2,000 classrooms, 50% of classrooms being sub-standard and highly overcrowded, and a dropout rate reaching 50%, current and next generations are trapped in poverty and unemployment. A better future can be achieved only through a high-quality education system. Help us to provide sustained support to students, teachers, and schools.

  • An extreme shortage of classrooms: A shortage of at least 1200 classrooms
  • Almost 50% of classrooms are sub-standard and overcrowded, housed in unfit buildings with insufficient ventilation and lightning
